This board is made from ginkgo trees cut from the deep snowy mountains of Echizen.
The material is uniform and contains natural oils from the wood, so it drains well, and its resilience makes it less likely to get deep scratches.
Since natural wood is used as the material, the colour and grain of each product will vary.
●After cooking meat or fish, sprinkle salt or cleanser (do not use dishwashing detergent), wash thoroughly with a scrubbing brush, and rinse with water or lukewarm water.
After thoroughly wiping off any moisture, stand the cutting board upright and dry it in the shade in a well-ventilated area.
●You may find holes on the surface of the cutting board, but these are characteristics of ginkgo wood. They are not scratches or defects and will not affect the comfort of use.
●Since this product is made of natural wood, cracks or breaks may occur.
●Do not use baking soda as it will cause the components contained in the wood to react and turn the wood black or green.
