CIBI curated, exhibition, Sekisyu Kawara, Tradition and Beauty, Japanese Tiles. Kawara is the Japanese word for fired clay roof tiles. Sekisyu Kawara, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, boasts a 400 year tradition, local raw materials and production of tiles that continues to the present day. A junction of landscape and craftsmanship shared along generations, welcome to Melbourne, Sekisyu Kawara!!
