The Akashi 'NAS' Single Malt is a no-age-statement single malt made by blending 3 single malts aged for different lengths of time in different cask finishes. These single malts were a 4 year old, 5-year-old and 7 year old matured in Spanish sherry oak, American oak and Bourbon oak casks.
Tasting Profile
Nose: Light peat smoke, subtle buttery depth, with undertones of crisp pear and fig.
Palate: Smooth texture carrying peat-like smoke, gentle malt sweetness, and mild spice.
Finish: Warm, rich, and medium-length smoke.
