Made in Hasami City, Nagasaki, Japan

Hakusan Porcelain was founded in 1779 in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, an area with more than 400 years of ceramic-making tradition. The company has existed in its current form since 1958, with Hasami porcelain known for its whiteness and translucence.

The arrival of Masahiro Mori as lead designer in 1956 played an important role in shaping Hakusan Porcelain’s modern approach to Japanese tableware.

The iconic G-Type Soy Sauce Dispenser, designed by Mori in 1958, illustrates this direction — considering not only its form, but how it is held, used and experienced in everyday life. The crisp white porcelain inside allows the contents to be clearly seen, while five glazed colours welcome the modern world with optimism and joy.

Nearly 70 years later, its simple form continues to feel at home in daily life.

At the heart of Hakusan Porcelain is, above all, ease of use and how naturally its products fit into everyday life.

Tableware that adds colour to the dining table, is durable enough to be used for many years, easy to care for, and has a distinctive form and character that makes you smile.

Made to be used every day, lived with for a long time, and enjoyed along the way.
