‘C is for Christmas’

Sarashi design installation through this festive season just started at CIBI, where you can enjoy design, food and space.

A place to gather, to select gifts, to eat or meet a friend and savour the CIBI lifestyle at CIBI Design store, cafe and grocer. A traditional Japanese textile the sarashi reflects the season, casting shadows from sunshine and reminding us a welcoming cooling breeze by its gentle movements. A beauty that makes us feel good!

S is for Sarashi

What is Sarashi

Sarashi is a traditional Japanese white cloth, usually cotton, that can be used to make various garments like juban (undergarment worn under the kimono) or fundoshi (traditional undergarment) or a tenugui. Like tenugui it can be used for wrapping gifts and personal items and as decor as we have with the CIBI ceiling.
