Kyukyodo's paints are refined by adding Arabia (glue) to pigments. Around the beginning of the Meiji era, it was used for the maintenance of imperial palaces, and its excellent colouring was highly praised and received high praise from various educational institutions such as universities. This set is a collection of classic Japanese colours.
