Tumi-isi is a polyhedral wooden block that helps develop balance and creativity. Designed by Nara-based Japanese design studio A4 owned by designer Daimon Kanno. The blocks can be stacked, arranged, displayed, and stimulate the user's imagination. Each piece is chamfered to a different size and shape by the hands of a craftsman so that it can be finished as a single object. Everything from material procurement to inspection is carried out in the Yoshino region of Nara Prefecture.
